Taster sessions

Not sure beekeeping is for you? These sessions are great for anyone who thinks they may be interested in beekeeping but would like the opportunity to see inside a beehive first just to make sure. The sessions also provide a great experience for those just curious about the world of honeybees.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask our trainers about all aspects of beekeeping throughout the session and we like to have our knowledge tested so do come prepared to ask!

Children are very welcome providing they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. We provide protective suits and gloves and we do have a range of child sized beesuits. We do ask that you bring wellies or long boots to protect your ankles.

We will be running two sessions in at our apiary in Beverley in 2025 both starting at 10:30, booking details will follow shortly:

• Saturday 23 May

• Saturday 15 August

Both dates are dependent on weather and although we will try everything to avoid needing to change beekeeping is weather dependent.

The for a session is £25.
