Bees
in your garden?
As beekeepers we are often asked by the public for advice
or help with bees and other
stinging insects. Although our prime interest is honeybees
we do know a little about other
related insects. This page is intended to give some general
advice about creatures you may
find in your garden. We know that many people find it hard
to tell the difference between
these so have included pictures to help you identify them.
In most cases bees and wasps will
live in or visit your garden quite happily alongside you
and your family and you will not need
to take any action to get rid of them.
The information below is about Bumblebees, Honeybees and
wasps which are the most
common visitors to your garden. There is a brief
description of their life cycle.
