take place on the third Monday of each month at Woodmansey
Village Hall starting at 7.30.
October
19th
Gerry Collins of Doncaster with a three part
lecture covering all aspects of swarming; causes, effects
and prevention.
November
16th
Our Annual General meeting followed by an ask the experts
session for all those tricky questions.
December
21st
A pre Christmas meeting with an informal social get
together and a short talk on Beekeeping in Portugal by
Lester Quayle
January
18th
Tom Robinson of York will talk on the European Black bee
and the role of BIBBA in its preservation.
February
16th
Lester Quayle on
the international Apimondia Congress in Montpellier in
2009.
March
15th
Dr David Aston of Wressle near Howden will talk on
“Preparing for the new season” which will not be far away
by then. Good for beginners.
April
Annual Auction.
