If you are interested in beekeeping you may well wish to join Beverley Beekeepers Association in order to take advantage of the benefits offered to members. There are several levels of membership catering for those who keep bees as well as those who are simply interested in bees and beekeeping.
This grade is tailored for those who actively keep hives of bees. It includes full membership of the British Beekeepers’ Association and the Yorkshire Beekeepers Association. You will receive beekeeper’s public liability and product liability insurance to cover you for third party claims associated with your beekeeping. You will also receive insurance covering you against your bees contracting certain bee diseases that would necessitate them being destroyed. As well as this you will receive the monthly BBKA News magazine and can attend all Beverley Beekeepers events and meetings. You also have access to our library of beekeeping books.
This grade is aimed at the partner of a Registered Member. You must reside at the same address as the Registered Member and will receive similar benefits to the Registered Member but no Bee Insurance and no separate mailing of magazines etc..
This grade is for those who do not keep bees but wish to keep in touch with beekeeping at a regional and national level. They receive the full British Beekeeper Association benefits including the monthly BBKA Newsletter. They can also attend the Beverley Beekeepers’ Association events.
